Introduction
I’m Margarita Rodionova — a fine art and lifestyle photographer based in Cancún, Mexico
Originally from Siberia, Russia, I studied at the Rodchenko Art School in Moscow, where I developed a passion for storytelling through images and light.
My work combines storytelling with an intimate, natural approach to portraiture. I create documentary, lifestyle, and fashion-inspired images that celebrate authenticity, femininity, and emotional connection.I believe photography has a therapeutic power — it helps us see ourselves with kindness and rediscover inner strength.

About me
I’m Margarita Rodionova, a fine art and commercial photographer currently based in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Born in Siberia, Russia, I began my creative path through painting and visual studies before turning to photography as a way to explore emotion, silence, and human connection.
My work combines documentary sensitivity and fine art aesthetics, focusing on themes of identity, memory, and the invisible boundaries between people, cultures, and places. I believe that photography has a therapeutic and transformative power — helping us see ourselves with empathy and rediscover the beauty of everyday life.
I create both personal art projects and intimate commissioned portraits, including lifestyle, maternity, and women’s portraiture sessions. Natural light, emotional honesty, and a personal connection with each subject are at the heart of my practice.
